Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Field Authority, a product of FieldCommand Technologies, LLC, collects, uses, discloses and protects information when people use our construction-document intelligence service.

Information we collect

We collect account and workspace details; project information; uploaded drawings, specifications, addenda and related files; questions, answers, citations and feedback; support messages; subscription and usage records; and technical records such as timestamps, device or browser information, request status and security events. Stripe collects payment-card and billing details directly; Field Authority does not store complete card numbers.

How we use information

We use information to authenticate users, keep organizations and projects separate, process and index documents, generate source-backed answers and issue reviews, provide subscriptions and support, detect abuse, recover failed work, measure reliability and cost, and comply with law. We do not sell customer project content or personal information.

Artificial-intelligence processing

Uploaded project content and questions are sent to artificial-intelligence and infrastructure providers only as needed to operate Field Authority. Project-specific content and corrections remain scoped to the authorized workspace. Project-specific content is not automatically turned into global construction guidance. Approved, project-neutral lessons may be used to improve service instructions and evaluations without intentionally including customer-identifying project content.

Service providers and disclosure

We disclose information to providers that support authentication, hosting, storage, database operations, artificial-intelligence processing, email, security, analytics, support and payments. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, in a business transaction, or with your direction. Providers process information under their applicable contracts and privacy terms.

Workspace access

Workspace owners control invitations, roles and project access. Authorized workspace users may see project content and activity. Do not upload personal, regulated, export-controlled or confidential information unless you have authority to do so and Field Authority is appropriate for that information.

Retention and deletion

We retain information while an account is active and as reasonably needed for service operation, security, billing, backups, disputes and legal obligations. Authorized users can delete documents and projects in the app. Account, access, correction, export and deletion requests may be submitted through Support. We may verify identity and retain limited records where legally required or reasonably necessary to protect the service.

Security

We use authentication, membership and project-authorization checks, protected storage, encrypted transport, payment-token separation, audit records and operational safeguards. No service can guarantee absolute security. Report suspected unauthorized access immediately through Support and avoid including secrets or payment-card data in project questions or support messages.

Your choices and rights

You may update workspace information, remove content, cancel through Manage billing and request access, correction, export or deletion through Support. Depending on where you live, additional privacy rights may apply. We will not discriminate against you for making a valid privacy request.

Children

Field Authority is a business service and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the service.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the service changes. Material revisions will be posted with a new effective date. Use the in-app Support form for privacy questions or requests.
